Amy Buckholz
Hearing Instrument Specialist
I am a mom, a photographer, a wife and A beach lover from Ohio. I have been in the hearing industry for going on 7 years, 4 of them spent as a provider in Ohio. My husband was transferred to the Ft Myers area, and since my sister lives here as well we thought it was a great move for us. when I started in the industry, I got hired on the spot. I have stayed in the industry because I fell in love with the reactions. My favorite thing is putting hearing aids on a patient and watching their face. The realization on what they were missing and what they can hear once the hearing aids are in their ears is my why…I love that look.
Jennifer Wilson
Audio Tech
Jennifer Wilson is an Audio Technician. She is originally from Portland, Maine and moved to Port Charlotte, FL in June 2021. She attended Intercoast Career Institution, for Registered Medical Assistant, and started working at Hearing Centers of Charlotte, Port Charlotte, FL. She began working in the hearing industry in August 2022 and was drawn to the profession because after obtaining her RMA certification, she accepted a position with MMP Otolaryngology in 2014. She had a great mentor that allowed her to work alongside him, learning and utilizing her skills in the ENT profession, Audiology was at the top of her interests.
What she loves most about saving hearing lives is she was able to witness firsthand the impact and the outcome cochlear implant surgery had on a patient’s ability to hear again and for some for the very first time, she knew that the hearing world was something she was drawn too and wanted to be a part of it within her professional field. She strives to learn everything she can from Theresa Stevens, HIS, since her employment within her clinic, Theresa has taught her tools and skills to allow her to utilize what she has learned from her previous employment to where she works now to help as many people as she can to hear better and make an impact in their hearing journey. She is thrilled to work for an amazing organization with an outstanding mentor by her side that shares the same goals as she does and the opportunity to work every day with patients and their hearing journey.
Outside of saving hearing lives, she loves hobbies such as refurbishing furniture, painting, DIY projects, flea markets, hiking, sightseeing, playing cribbage, spending time with her family back in Maine every opportunity she can get, and cannot forget about her French bulldog, named Vinnie as well.
